5. SENSITIVE SKIN TYPE
I will explain in detail,The skin type and what you should avoid using.
1. Oily skin:It is the result of over-production of sebum(sebum is an oily substance made of fats ) it helps to moisturize the skin to keep it shiny and healthy but some people produce it in excess. Excess sebum can cause acne ( the presence of blackheads, whiteheads and other types of pimples on the skin)
WHAT TO AVOID
When shopping for your skincare products "you should be looking for products that are light and hydrate the skin rather than moisturize it. You should look for cleansing ingredients that help maintain the ph and bacteria balance in the body.
1. Avoid face oils(e.g coconut oil): Natural oils work for some but not for everyone since they are highly comedogenic and tend to clog pores. Oils with fatty acids (coconut oils, hazel nut oils, sunflower oil etc)sit on the skin surface. Why not option for oils with higher linoleic content like rose hip oil, primerose oil, Hemp seed oil, Grapeseed oil.
2. Rough scrubs : Over exfoliation, especially with formulas can damage the moisturize barrier leaving the skin prone to sensitivity and imbalance.
3. Alcohol- based product: There are many kind of alcohols used in skincare. some that hydrate the skin, others that cleanse it. And if you have oily skin, you may be tempted to pick products with alcohol but they might not always be a good idea. Instead use natural toners such as SPRING WATER, ROSE WATER (they will degrease without causing dryness)
And also avoid.
SODIUM LAURYL OR LAURETH SULPHATE
4. Occlusice Emmollients: they are breed of moisturizers that form a seal to prevent hydration from evaporating and protect skin. Emmollient ingredients to avoid for oily skin
