SKIN TYPES AND CARE (part 3)

COMBINATION SKIN.


This skin type features two or more different skin types on the face and condition of your skin may fluctuate between seasons.


PRODUCT TO AVOID 


1. ALCOHOL:  

alcohol finds its way into many skincare products for combination skin. You might feel tempted to use alcohol-based toners or astringent on the oily areas. Alcohol will dry your entire face and can trigger the oily areas to over produce oil in an attempt to balance your skin.

2. OIL BASED MOISTURIZER: 

Oil based moisturizer will only add to the problem of combination skin. The oils will build up and make the pores in your T-Zone clog and look larger.

3. HARSH SCRUBS: 

Many exfoliating products use for skin facials are too harsh for combination skin. Avoid products with hard grains of material or chemical.

SENSITIVE SKIN
A skin prone to inflammation or adverse reaction, while many people can have a skin reaction at some point or another to a product or ingredient. People with sensitive skin may have strong reaction to chemicals. Dyes and fragrances present in product that come into contact with the skin. 





PRODUCT TO AVOID 


1. ESSENTIAL OILS: 

Tea tree, Mint, Citrus and Lavender oils should be used carefully or avoided completely. Tea tree oil can be safe for skin in s mild diluted doses, Mint, Citrus and Lavender can cause irritation and negative reaction to the skin.


2. HARSH EXFOLIANTS

If you have a sensitive skin, using an exfoliant that is too harsh can cause your skin to be immediately inflamed. Although you shouldn't just avoid exfoliating completely but opting for the gentler version.


3. SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE

They linger in some skin cleansers and sunscreen can be damaging to sensitive skin
